Things I Like — Our Patio

Being the top floor of our building has perks, including our mini-patio (aka the platform at the top of the fire escape).

The morning sun is delicious and I’ve spent many stolen minutes while brushing my teeth or watching the kettle boil imagining how we could transform it into a summer oasis.

My lack of gardening skills and budget may be hurdles, but not insurmountable.

No design solution is insurmountable if I have enough time, and in the meantime I can trek out a dining chair and dream of trellis and herb boxes and beautiful things.
