Light Travels in August

I am currently in Kyrgyzstan – midway through my three-legged August.

First, we went to an island in the English Channel for some Shakespeare. It’s a National Trust property, and an excellently English summer evening. Adorable.

By the time you are reading this, I am probably camping with sheep some 4,000 miles above sea-level. Google says it will look like this

I promise to send my own actual pictures when I return to the land of WiFi, cross my heart.

But before then, I am on a jaunt through the British landmarks I’ve still never visited in my 8 years on this island.

There might be stone circles. Or fancy museums. There will definitely be thatched cottages and lots of tea.

And then it will be September and I will try to put my normal life back together and tell you ridiculous, wonderful stories.

In the meantime, here is about a million unicorns to cheer you up.

What do you think?
