Que Sera Sara?

I love games, but I am so hyper (read: angry) competitive they make me uncomfortable and no fun.

Enter: Pandemic.

A board game where all players are on a team, battling outbreaks of disease by running around the globe finding cures and saving lives.

I love being on a team.

I love saving the world.

I love taking pretend things *really* seriously.

And it’s the first time I’ve loved losing. We end a game and I immediately want to try again, certain this time it’ll be different.

It’s all my favorite things in a tidy, infuriatingly challenging 45 minutes.
